Best Buy 3-day sale: Save on laptops, TVs, headphones and more (Update: Expired)

Update, April 12: This sale has ended. Original story is below.

If there’s one thing that Best Buy does well — and often — it’s having large sales, and this weekend’s Best Buy three-day sale is characteristically epic. There’s an enormous variety of products on sale, including TVs, laptops, audio gear, exercise equipment, kitchen appliances, smart home and security gadgets and games.

In fact, by my count, there are roughly 500 items marked down — way too many for you to slog though. So before you head over to save some cash on the sale, browse the list below. I’ve curated a handful of what look to be the best deals this weekend.

A 75-inch 8K TV makes quite a statement, and with that in mind, it’s harder to make a bigger statement than Samsung’s QN75Q900TSFXZA. This 75-inch QLED set has an 8K resolution and runs the excellent Tizen OS, giving you access to pretty much all the streaming channels. Ordinarily $6,500, you can save $2,500 during this weekend’s three-day sale.

Beats scored a home run with the Solo Pro, the brand’s first pair of headphones to feature active noise cancellation and the first full-size Beats headphones to charge via Lightning. It’s overall a superb model (read the CNET review of the Beats Solo Pro for more details), and right now it’s $160, making it $140 off its usual $300 price tag.

This 3.4-pound Surface Laptop 3 features a 15-inch display, an AMD Ryzen 7 Microsoft Surface Edition CPU with 16GB RAM and a 512GB SSD for storage. Usually $2,100, you can get it for $1,700 this weekend.

The Powerbeats Pro have a lot to recommend them: They have better sound and offer better battery life than the AirPods and stay on your ears securely, thanks to the bendable loop. They offer all the same basic conveniences of the original AirPods — including fast pairing, rock-solid wireless connectivity and always-on Siri voice-recognition for iOS users. Plus, the phone call quality is excellent. You usually get all this for $250, but you can save $100 this weekend.

Summer is coming, and with it comes sunshine and vaccines. When it’s safe to venture outdoors, do it on a Bird One scooter, which features a 25-mile range, 18 mph max speed, digital lock and built-in GPS. Usually $1,300, you can get it for $1,000 right now during Best Buy’s sale.

You might not have $4,000 for an 8K TV, but you can still get a gorgeous-looking 75-inch TV from Sony. The X750H features a 4K LED display driven by Sony’s X1 processor, which delivers HDR color and 240Hz visuals with no motion blur. Intrigued? It’s $200 off right now, down from the usual $1,100.
