The Huawei P40 series was announced last month and even went on sale in Europe two days ago. Yet it’s only now making it to the maker’s homeland of China.
The vanilla P40 starts at CNY4,188 while the base model of the Pro variant costs CNY5,988. There’s also a special edition of the P40 Pro, which comes in a single 8GB/256GB configuration and costs CNY6,888.
The P40 Pro+, which is the most advanced smartphone in the lineup, starts at CNY7,988. The P40 and P40 Pro are available for purchase in China through VMall, whereas the Pro+ will go on sale in June. You can check out the table below for more details about the pricing.

The P40 and P40 Pro are offered in Silver Frost, Blush Gold, Deep Sea Blue, Ice White and Black shades, whereas the P40 Pro+ has two color options – White Ceramic and Black Ceramic.
The P40, P40 Pro and P40 Pro+ are all powered by the Kirin 990 SoC, run Android 10-based EMUI 10.1 (sans GMS), sport 50MP main cameras and 32MP selfie shooters. But that’s where the similarities end. You can head over here to check out the detailed specs of the P40 trio.
