Just three months after the rebirth of the Poco brand with the Poco X2 (based on the Redmi K30), were about to see the official arrival of Poco F2 Pro. The extensive teaser campaign suggests it will be a rebadged Redmi K30 Pro.
The big questions of pricing and availability remain, alongside the software package but all unknowns will be revealed at the launch, taking place online at noon UTC. Weve provided a YouTube link below so you can enjoy it from the comfort of your home or office.
We should see a phone with no notches or punch holes, meaning the selfie camera is in a pop-up mechanism, it will come in four colors – Purple, White, Gray, Greenish Blue, and should cost between 570 and 649 depending on the market.
During the promo campaign we saw that the Poco F2 Pro will arrive with two memory options – 6/128 GB or 8/256 GB. The Redmi K30 Pro arrived with a Snapdragon 865 and we expect the same to be with the Poco F2 Pro, but without the Snapdragon X55 modem, responsible for the 5G connectivity.
Poco is not saying why the successor of the Poco X2 is called Poco F2 Pro and why wasnt there Poco F1 Pro in the first place, or is there going to be Poco F2, but we expect to learn more once the online event begins.
