Xiaomi announced the global version of Redmi Note 9 Pro (initially launched under the name Redmi Note 9 Pro Max) and the phone was so captivating, it immediately jumped in the top spot of our weekly trending list.
The iPhone SE (2020) and Mi 10 Youth keep their places in Top 3, but we expect the latter to be replaced by the the global Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite Zoom once that’s official. Then we have the Huawei nova 7 Pro 5G – a leader last week, but still capturing your attention this one.
Two more Xiaomi phones are following – the Redmi Note 9S and its predecessor Redmi Note 8 Pro. Last year’s model was wildly popular so the new ones have big shoes to fill.
Once a company filling half the top 10 spots, now Samsung has only one smartphone – the Galaxy A51. It has the Redmi Note 8 and LG Velvet keeping it company. The latter is a yet unreleased smartphone that should be official on May 7 and launched in South Korea on May 15.
The OnePlus 8 Pro completes the top 10, but seeing how it lost 8 positions in two weeks it’s likely on its way out.
